This soap is handmade in Marseille following the ancestral method and natural ingredients, Mediterranean sea water, rose essential oil, rose petals, the best quality vegetable oils and sodium carbonate.

The rose is a female plant, associated with Venus, the element of water and a large number of gods: Hathor, Hulda, Eros, Cupid, Demeter, Isis, Harpocrates and Aurora. Traditionally it is used for its properties related to love, mental power, healing, divination, good fortune and protection.

The rose is a plant related to love; Its floral and seductive sensuality makes it an aphrodisiac, it is considered a sacred flower, a symbol of selfless love.

It has a great ability to heal emotional wounds; When rejection or loss has diminished self-love, rose oil provides sweet comfort, uniting the mind with the heart and bringing warmth to the soul.

Greek mythology attributes the origin of roses to the goddess Cybele, also known as Phrygia, who, since Aphrodite’s beauty was unrivaled, created this delicate and beautiful flower so that the goddess of love and beauty would have a worthy comparison.
